Update on 101 Things

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

When I started this blog in college, I created a list of 101 things to do in 1001 days. I managed to mark close to 45 things off the list before the 1001 days were up. I also managed to accomplish a lot of other things that were not on the list like getting married, buying a house, and surviving my first year of teaching.

I recently decided that even though the time limit is over, I am still going to work on completing everything on that list. Here are a few things I have done recently that I was able to cross off.

1. Send a letter to everyone in my address book.
I loved working on this. I really enjoyed creating and making cards to fit each recipients personality.

2. Learn to play chess.
I bought Tim an Appalachian Chess set so of course I had to learn how to play it.
I've only completed one game but am looking forward to playing more.

3. Visit the NC Zoo
This year for Mother's Day, my mom want us all to take a family trip to the NC Zoo. We had a lot of fun. Tim finally got to hold our adorable niece for the first time since she was a week old.

I now have 52 things crossed off my list. I am hoping to get everything crossed off by the end of this year!

Have you completed a 101 things in 1001 days list?
How did you manage to stick with it?

You're doing great with your list! I'll need to get mine back out again and see what else I can cross off it :)

I am hopeless at these kinds of lists I never manage to complete as much as I should. I think it's a great idea to keep working towards the list - cant wait to see the other projects you are working on.

Girl if I make a list of things to do, I'm trying to keep it simple. My summer bucket list has like five things... nothing crazy.
I don't know how to play chess, but that writing a letter to everyone in your address book sounds pretty cool!
