DIY Glitter Clothespins

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram (mrsjoy2) you know that I decided to get crafty the other night.

Earlier this week, I pinned an image from this post on DI-Myself.
Her directions and tutorial for creating glitter clothespins is amazing.
I love the way she turned hers into magnets.

It was so easy to complete and fairly neat (which is hard to do with glitter).
I never would have thought of using double sided tape to make the glitter stick. it worked really well.

I decided to use  my new glitter clothespins to display cards from some of favorite people.
I am still trying to decide if I like it hanging from our mantle (your thoughts?).

I have decided that I love the glitter clothespins and think they will be perfect to display student work in my classroom next year. It will make it much easier to change out their work.

If you try this out please let me know! I would love to see your final product.

Wish List Wednesday

I have seen several of my favorite bloggers completing a Wish List Wednesday post.
I figured this is the best way for me to jump back into blogging! I have definitely missed it.

First, on my wish list is this Coach Sutton Signature Swingpack
It would be perfect for summer adventures and will help me limit the number of items I carry in my bag.

Second, is this adorable Christmas ornament from The Back Porch Shoppe.
I love this one because it has the year on it. (I know, I know Christmas is still 6 months away, but I can't stop thinking about how cute this ornament is).

The last item on my wish list is this beautiful outdoor storage bench from Hayneedle.
This bench would be perfect outside on our back deck. I love that it will provide extra seating and has storage space underneath the seat.

Thanks for looking at my wish list. I hope to be back to blogging on a regular basis. I feel like I have so much to share. :)

What is currently on  your wish list?
