Bride and Bridesmaids Bouquets

I love hydrangeas. They are very beautiful flowers.

Which is why I have decided to carry them on my wedding day.
I also am going to use silk flowers, because I can keep my bouquet for as long as I want!
Plus they didn't take a huge chunk out of my budget. (Thank you Michael's coupons.)

My bridesmaids will also be carrying a bouquet of hydrangeas.
These flowers are just so beautiful.

What did you/would you like to carry on your wedding day?

Hydrangeas are gorgeous. We have two hydrangea bushes in our front yard and I adore them! Good choice!

What a beautiful idea! They are gorgeous. I have never really thought about it honestly. I do know I will be carrying silk ones as well to save money! :)

I was a bridesmaid for one of my best friends last September and we all carried hydrangeas! We had beautiful bouquets.

just found your lovely blog through christina:) i actually carried only hydrangeas at my wedding, so i completely relate to your choice! i had a bouquet of purple and white ones, and my bridesmaids all carried single stem ones. however, a little note: i went outside for a few minutes before my ceremony, and my bouquet wilted a little. those little blooms are very sensitive:)

Hi Sarah. Thank you for your sweet comment today :)

I am hand making my bouquet as well as my bridesmaids and the guys boutteniers...I haven't completely thought out the entire concept yet, but I am excited to keep the bouquet, too :)

I had a combination of tulips, roses and Gerber daisies(my favorite!). I adore hydrangeas too, but unfortunately we weren't able to find any that didn't cost a fortune. I couldn't not have hydrangeas at my wedding, so we had some in vases around the church and reception site.

'Love hydrangeas, and you can order them online in bulk pretty cheaply...if you don't mind doing your own arrangements.
